Sales Development Representative at Submittable

Submitttable is seeking Sales Development Representatives to join our rapidly growing team in Missoula, MT. We are a thoughtful, engaged team with diverse interests. This is a full-time position.

Position responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an initial touch point for all inbound leads
  • Nurturing leads from Cold > Marketing > Sales Qualified
  • Generating business opportunities from cold lead lists. We reach prospects primarily via phone, but also by email
  • Researching and gathering detailed information on assigned leads (e.g. company size, needs, and pricing plans)
  • Contacting clients to understand their business problem and why they are looking for software
  • Learning internal processes associated with lead follow up and strategies to nurture and close
  • Setting calls and demos for Sales Representatives
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • Becoming proficient in all software used by the Sales Department and across Submittable. Some examples:
    • Submittable’s internal software
    • HubSpot
    • Intercom
  • Gaining solid understanding of Submittable SaaS platform and how its features and workflow functions apply to various submission and application workflows.
  • Coordinating with Sales Manager and Sales Reps to create customized sales plans for key clients
