Position: Law Clerk
Position Overview:
Nearpod is seeking a talented law clerk to  review contracts in a fun, innovative, corporate, in-house setting from mid-June through end of October to help the head of the legal department cover a gap while a staff attorney is out on leave. Experience, efficient, fast workers preferred. Preferably 25-30 hours per week.
Role and Responsibilities: 
  • Draft agreements
  • Legal research
  • Client contact
  • Organizational and attorney support
  • Fill out vendor forms
  • Complete Requests for Proposals
  • Work closely with the Sales, Content, and Development teams to assist in various aspects of the day-to-day responsibilities  
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organization and document/file management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Proofreading and editing documents produced by others.
Employment Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions
